Your skin is unique, which means your cost for IPL therapy will depend on your individual goals. Refined Aesthetics offers monthly specials from time to time, and we accept a range of payment methods. At your first consultation, your technician can estimate your treatment cost and discuss how many sessions are needed to maximize your results.

Most women and men have some minor, temporary side effects, such as swelling, redness, blisters, crusting, or bruising. However, this should fade 2 – 3 days following your treatment. The treated areas will be photosensitive, and exposure to damaging UV rays can impact your results. Whenever you go outside, you should always wear sunscreen to protect your skin and help prevent skin problems, such as sun spots and redness.

In preparation for IPL therapy, patients are usually asked to avoid self-tanners and sun exposure for 2 – 4 weeks before their procedure. You should discontinue the use of certain medications and topical creams, like Retin-A, several days before each treatment, and we may recommend that you avoid taking ibuprofen, aspirin, or other blood thinners for one week before your procedure to help prevent bruising. You also need to use sunscreen between treatments.

When Will I See The Results?
Visible improvements can generally be experienced after each Harmony XL PRO IPL therapy session, but optimal results can be seen about one month after a full series of treatments is completed.
It is normal for patients to respond differently to each treatment session.
You should experience a gradual improvement in redness, blotchiness, age spots, and sun spots over time.
